Students Services

Fillmore Unified School District Mission: “Every day we develop high performing students who become engaged and productive members of society”

Our focus is on supporting the development of the “whole child.” We foster students’ and families’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development, and ensure their basic needs are met. With a focus on developing positive relationships with students based on trust and understanding, we get to the heart of the issue and connect the students and families with the services they need.

Our passion is to help students be successful and feel cared about, while providing families the tools they need to be more independent. We work to keep the hope and dreams of children alive and inspire them to reach for a life-long passion for learning and school community engagement.

Reaching beyond the students to parents and the community, we are committed to developing, coordinating and maintaining strong partnerships with local organizations and finding ways to provide needed resources to the citizens in and around the Fillmore / Piru areas.

Our office provides a wide range of programs and resources to school and district personnel, students and families on issues and concerns include, but are not limited to, the following: student discipline, school safety, inter-district transfers, pupil records, custody of minors, enrollment and residency, counseling and guidance, homeless and foster youth, compulsory school attendance and truancy reduction.
