The Ventura County SELPA announces a public hearing to review the proposed Annual Budget Plan and Program Descriptors/Annual Service Plan for Special Education. The public hearing will be held on 5/2/16.
The California Department of Education has awarded Fillmore Unified School District $2.6 million to fund full-day preschool classes at its four elementary schools and two additional District sites, providing families with a high-quality child development program free of charge.
The Fillmore High School stadium parking lot will be under construction beginning on or shortly after March 28, 2016, with an anticipated completion date of May 16, 2016. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this period of time.
The Fillmore Unified School District Board of Education wants to honor the many contributions of those whose education was interrupted due to wartime circumstance. Former Fillmore High School (FHS) students who left high school to serve in the U.S. military during World War II, the Korean War or the Vietnam War, and received an honorable discharge may contact Fillmore Unified School District to receive their high school diplomas. Fillmore Unified School District also presents diplomas to Japanese-American citizens forced to leave FHS due to WWII internment.
