2024 High School Summer Scholars Academy Rising 9th–12th Grade Students

 

Location: Fillmore Middle School

 

Dates: June 20 - July 19

 

Non-Instructional Days: June 19, July 3-4

 

Hours: 8:00am - 12:15pm (Break 10:00am - 10:15am)

 

Session 1: June 20 - July 3

 

Session 2:July 8 - July 19

 

Attendance: Attendance is mandatory, and students will be dropped if they miss more than two days of instruction AND/OR have 3 or more tardies. Your student must attend the entirety of their summer session.

 

Meals: Free meals will be offered to students for lunch and breakfast each day. Breakfast will be served each morning from 7:30am - 8:00am. Lunch is a grab-and-go and will be served at 12:15pm each day.

 

Curriculum: Fillmore Unified School District has been working to streamline the Summer Scholars Academy experience for our FUSD Scholars. Those who need credit recovery will be invited to participate by their high school counselor. Scholars looking to get ahead and take initial credit offerings can meet with their counselor on possible opportunities. At this time, initial credit opportunities are only available to those seeking flexibility with future CTE, VAPA, and ASB pathways.
